The underside of the tray is covered with a fine layer of felt, which ensures grip and smooth flexibility. Material Untreated birch wood is characterised by its light brown/brownish tint with clearly visible marl marks. Birch is a deciduous wood with a fine grain pattern. Birch wood is a somewhat soft wood, which is why all birch wood items in our collection have been thoroughly treated. The colouring of the birch wood is done with a 100% natural lacquer or stain in order to obtain a fully opaque result with a durable finish.
