The MDF used in our collections is formed from compressed wood fibers which are bonded under high pressure using resin. This gives the material a very smooth surface. The MDF in our collections is processed in the back walls of a selection of storage furniture. MDF provides the base for walnut or oak veneer. Every veneered MDF board is provided with a transparent, protective coating. The material is strong and atmospheric. The high-gloss finish gives the table a polished appearance.
