Material The MDF sheet material in our collections is formed from pressed wood fibers which are bonded under pressure using resin. This gives this material a very smooth surface. 3D paper is a material for creating a three-dimensional effect or texture on a tabletop, for example. This can be done by cutting, folding or printing the paper in layers or patterns to create a depth or relief effect. A piece of furniture finished with 3D paper furniture gives an artistic and unique look, but has limited structural strength and is susceptible to moisture and wear.
