Material The table top of the Mae is made of strong MDF, the legs are made of pine wood. MDF is formed from pressed wood fibres which are bonded together under high pressure using resin. This gives MDF a very smooth surface. The MDF from our collections is always treated with a strong primer and finished in a colour. This ensures that the article is well protected and ready for use. Dimensions This slim side table has a height of 40 cm and is approximately 61 cm wide and 50 cm deep. The table top has a raised edge of 2 cm high. The legs have a height of 37 cm and run from the top o 3 cm tapering to o 1.5 cm. The table itself weighs 2 kg and has a max carrying weight of 5 kg. Maintenance The advantage of MDF is that it will not splinter or warp. However, MDF is very sensitive to moisture and heat due to its strong absorbing properties. This will cause the MDF to expand and cannot be returned to its original shape. Delivery The side table is delivered in one package. The legs are easy to assemble by using the enclosed assembly instruction. To protect hard floors, place felt glides under the legs (o1cm).
