Material

The pine furniture in our collections is FSC-Mix certified and treated in various ways. The Casa, for example, is sanded and finished to a smooth and neat finish. Pine wood is characterized by visible flame and grain patterns.

Melamine is a combination of paper and synthetic resin that is applied to chipboard or other smooth wood types using heat. Melamine can give a matte or glossy finish and is particularly strong. Melamine items are scratch-resistant, wear-resistant, and heat-resistant. The oak decor of the Casa is made of melamine.

Maintenance

Treated oak is very easy to maintain. Keep the furniture dust-free by regularly wiping it with a clean, dry cloth. Always use basic protection for wood, such as coasters under drinking glasses or hot pans. Untreated oak requires a thorough finish to prevent warping. This means that the furniture needs to be treated on all sides, including the underside.

Stable and safe use

For cabinets taller than 50 cm, we recommend paying extra attention to wall mounting. Installing fall prevention measures prevents accidents and keeps the cabinet from tipping over.
