Material

Ash wood is a slightly soft wood with a clean, straight grain. Items from our collections are covered with an ash veneer, these strips are glued to a smooth wood and then finished with a stain and transparent, protective coating. Ash wood is characterised by its lively appearance, with distinct colour differences in the wood, even after the application of stain. As a result, colour nuances can occur both between different components and in individual pieces of furniture.

Maintenance

Ash wood veneer is easy to clean with a slightly damp, clean cloth. Drying afterwards ensures a streak-free result. Glued veneer can deform on contact with heat and/or moisture. For this reason, it is advisable to protect veneered furniture with coasters and to keep it indoors at all times. Ash veneer requires no (re)treatment.
