The Silas series has a contemporary modern look and offers a good basis for the interior. WARNING tipping hazard! For cabinets higher than 70 cm, we recommend paying extra attention to the wall mounting. Mounting the fall prevention prevents accidents and keeps the cabinet from tipping over. Material This tall cabinet with two doors and a drawer is made of solid ash (finger joint), has been sanded and varnished in the colour blacknight. The base is made of black metal. Ash is a slightly soft wood with a tight, straight grain. The straight grain pattern ensures that ash wood can be bent well, making it very suitable for the furniture industry. Treated ash wood is strong and hardwearing, but untreated ash wood can show a lot of movement and quickly yellow. Sanded ash gives a neat, smooth look. Brushed ash has more character and band sawn ash has a very robust and rough look. Dimensions The Silas high cabinet has a height of 210 cm, a width of 60 cm and a depth of 36 cm. Behind the two doors there are four shelves, the height of the storage compartments is 40 cm and the width is 56 cm. The drawer depth is 31 cm and the width is 56 cm. The weight of this unit is 37 kg. Maintenance Treated ash is easy to clean with a slightly damp, clean cloth. Stains on untreated ash wood can be removed with an absorbent, clean cloth. If stains are stubborn, ash wood can easily be re-treated. Sand the wood to 180 grit, then protect the ash wood with an oil, wax, varnish or stain of your choice. Untreated ash wood is not suitable for outdoor use. Delivery The tall unit is delivered in two packages and is easy to assemble using the assembly instructions supplied. To protect hard floors, place felt glides under the legs.
