Karel is made of solid, FSC-certified ash and finished with a transparent coating. The Karel dining chair lends itself well as a resting point in an eccentric dining area or as a stable force in a neutral interior style. Material Ash wood is a slightly soft wood with a tight, straight grain. The straight grain pattern allows ash wood to be bent well, making it very suitable for the furniture industry. Treated ash wood is strong and hardwearing, but untreated ash wood can show a lot of movement and quickly yellow. Sanded ash gives a neat, smooth look.
